Andrea is a dedicated HR Director specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Workplace Investigations. She collaborates with organizations to foster a sense of belonging within the workplace. Andrea's expertise includes crafting DEI strategies and policies, developing respectful workplace guidelines and training programs, engaging stakeholders, and creating Employment Equity Policies. She also designs customized learning and development initiatives, focusing on cultural competencies and anti-racism/anti-oppression.Committed to continuous learning, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations. She is certified in 'Foundations' and 'Antiracism' through the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. Additionally, Andrea has earned certifications in Gender-based Analysis+ from the Government of Canada and 'Aboriginal World Views and Education' from the University of Toronto. She is also a certified Psychological Health and Safety Trained Professional and is accredited in Workplace Investigations.Outside of her professional pursuits, Andrea is passionate about sports.
