About Andrea Lawner

I am a hard-working and energetic graduate student at Fairfield University. Throughout my time thus far at Fairfield, I have been volunteering at local elementary schools, as well as participating in the service learning aspects of my education courses. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a teacher. I believe I would be a great teacher because of my strengths. I consider myself to be empathetic, I am patient, and I am a level-headed individual. My goal is to gain as much teaching experience as I can so I am able to see things from more than one perspective. I love learning new things each and everyday and enjoy the challenges that come my way. I am looking forward to making a difference in children's lives and helping them find their passion.
