I am an experienced Certified Athletic Trainer with a BS in Athletic Training from TCU in Fort Worth, TX (2009) and a MS in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration from UNM in Albuquerque, NM (2011).As the current District Athletic Trainer for Oklahoma City Public Schools, I have had the opportunity to create a comprehensive sports medicine program from the ground up. In my time with OKCPS, I have worked with our administration to create 8 new positions so that the student athletes have access to a quality Healthcare professional. During the COVID-19 pandemic, while everyone was struggling to re-start athletics, I played a large role in creating our return to play guidelines and completing contact tracing to keep our student athletes and coaches healthy and safe. I pride myself in my experience in creating injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for various injuries. I am detail oriented, self-motivated, hard working and always open to a new opportunity to grow in my skills in Athletics and as a person.
