Job Functions:To provide a full range of services to members including but not limited to:Responding to member inquires, analyzing needs and assisting members to utilize the product or service which best meets those needs; cross sell credit union products; process member transactions; process member requests for account updates and closures; address concerns with member accounts; provide a full range of services to members including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, cheque cashing and updating passbooks.Major Duties and Responsibilities:To provide excellent, efficient and courteous member service at all times;To promote the credit union by offering a full range of financial services and sales opportunities including investments and basic loan services;To provide assistance to members by opening membership accounts, respond to inquiries, as well as servicing member requests for deposits, withdrawals and transfers;To operate a cash drawer, maintain cash balance, list and balance outgoing cheques, accurate and timely balancing of all daily transactions, sorting and filing of members’ cheques;To perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned and approved by Branch Management including but not limited to, balancing the treasury on a daily basis, balancing the ATM on a daily basis, preparation and distribution of MSR cash orders, prepare branch cash order, to prepare and ship outgoing cash, coin and mutilated parcels and to assist with branch activities where assigned;Identify and fulfill members’ financial services needs (cash or certified cheques, bill payments, cheque orders, buy/sell foreign cash, traveller’s cheques, personal money orders, travel insurance, assist in the completion of forms, term deposit transactions, accept applications for plastics Cards, payment cards and credit cards);
