Covering 23 Chevrolet retailers for all aspects of local marketingMain focus being the promotion of new vehicle sales linked to the quarterly manufacturer offers that were put in place.Working closely with both regional sales and after sales managers to develop sales across all areas of the business and maintaining/expanding relationships with existing retailers.Planning of quarterly marketing focus meetings with key individuals to plan the regional campaign and also group activity.Management & maintenance of dealer website – both group level and also at brand level.Monitoring of dealer standards and brand guidelines Presentation of regional campaigns at key “Fast Start” meetings to the entire region, also via individual dealer meetings and email communication.Development of individual bespoke dealer campaigns including creative and studio briefs along with the briefing of media plans where needed dependent on individual business needs, geographical area and to the final presentation to the clientSupporting dealers with local activity for new model & product launches/events.Use of all local marketing materials to produce quarterly activity plans covering all areas of local press, radio, direct mail, email, online, data purchase and telephone prospecting/follow up.Management of local marketing budget on a quarterly basis to the value of £125,000k per quarter.Used vehicle marketing and reviewing dealer stock.After Sales campaigns targeting the local IMT, lapsed customer campaigns, retention programmes and incentives to keep the customer returning to the dealership.Management of local events specific to individual dealerships and working with the national event agencies.Linking local activity where possible to national sponsorship.Use of customer research from national & local focus groups/forums.Use Experian territory and competitor analysis to identify key areas of opportunity at both regional and individual dealership level.

Working on the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle account covering 32 van centres across the UK as part of the new local marketing service appointed by VW from April 1st. Job role covers all aspects of van centre marketing, being very similar to the role above This included the launch of the new service to the network, of which this is something they had previously not had to this level.Working with national communication plans to identify opportunities at a local level. Advising van centres on the best ways to look at all aspects of local marketing activity for there area.Implementing the importance of marketing planning and assist with developing these in line with the national sales focus.Identifying key business issues with individuals and then supporting this with recommended actions and plans to help.
