Andrea will be leading projects that span the entire region. She will have responsibility for a number of HR initiatives, including a project focused on our recruiting processes and employment branding.

Berks Products was sold in 2016-2017. Andrea managed the human resource process until the last division was sold. A.D. Moyer Lumber Inc. is a family owned company serving Berks, Montegomery and Lehigh Counties. They purchased the last division of Berks Products, which consisted of building materials and millwork. This addition would almost double their current workforce. The owners decided they needed an HR professional to handle this new dynamic workforce. Conducted an HR audit to fully understand what areas may need enhancement in the HR department. Andrea created documents, policies and procedures to make an efficient HR department. She also assisted the leadership with process to manage the employment relationship through the employee life cycle.

There was diversity in the daily HR function at Berks Products. Andrea served as a business partner, managing all aspects of Human Resources. Specifically focused on recruitment, employee development, labor relations and benefit structure.

There was a reorganization and consolidation of divisions in the later part of the year. The realignment created an organizational chart that was in line with corporate. (New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co) However, the change in title for me gave me more responsibility. Andrea managed human resource functions for approximately 400+ employees, both union and non-union

Andrea managed all of the benefit operations of the company. Including benefit renewal with our providers, open enrollments with the employees, COBRA administration, FMLA, short term disability. You name it, it's likely Andrea had a hand in it. In addition to HR functions, Andrea managed government relations and grassroots efforts.
