I am a Doctor in Pure and Applied Mathematics and I currently hold a Research Grant in Mathematical Physiscs at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Torino. My research work resulted in the pubblication of 3 peer-reviewed papers, my Doctoral Thesis, and one article currently in preparation.During my academic career I have acquired expertise in the mathematical methods for quantitative sciences, especially mathematics and physics, and familiarity with some computational methods, including the basics of computer programming (C/C++), symbolic calculus software (Maple, Mathematica), markup/typesetting (TeX/LaTeX and Beamer). I have also expanded on this knowledge by studying a bit of Python, Javascript, SQL, and using the Google Apps Script library for my personal projects.Both in academy and especially in my volunteer work in the Italian Red Cross, I have experienced and practiced working in teams, sharing workload and common objectives. I personally prefer working in groups, I especially like having different approaches for the same problems and supporting one another while simultaneously learning and growing.I always try to get out of the comfort zone and learn new things, not necessarily related to science and technology: I firmly believe that the only way to come up with original solutions to everyday problems, both personal and work-related, is to get in contact with many different ideas and concepts, even from seemingly unrelated areas.
