Profile bio

About Andrea Pasqui

Enthusiastic PhD candidate at ABC Department of Politecnico di Milano, working on a multidisciplinary research which entangles Egyptology, Archaeology, Architecture and Anthropology. I've started studying architecture in order to comprehend the manner in which we, as humans, can modify and build the landscape in which we live, from the Ancient Civilizations to more recent times. I think Interdisciplinarity is the mantra of our future, since is no longer possible to imagine a world without a deep entanglement between different disciplines. This kind of approach is the one I adopt in studying ancient civilization and their architectures: the three A (Architecture, Archaeology and Anthropology) together with Egyptology represent the cornerstones of my research career. In my free time I never miss an opportunity to study philosophy, which stand at the basis of my approach to archaeological and architectural disciplines, and read a good book.
