About Andrea Paton

My previous experience to date has been within the hospitality industry and I have many years of successful management of a large, fast paced business duties included revenue generation, profit conversion, productivity, exceeding customer expectations, compliance and brand standards.Most recently I was the General Manager of Braid Hills Hotel in Edinburgh for 4+ years, upon my arrival the site was half way through a £2m refurbishment program with 40 bedrooms to be completed whilst the business was fully operational. In addition to the fixtures and fittings upgrade the hotel required modernisation of all marketing packages, online presence including the website and OTA listings, restaurant and event menus to ensure the new business was appealing to a broader market.Since joining the team in 2015 the hotel turnover has increased by £500k+ NET per annum, this was achieved through a 12% growth in occupancy resulting in an annual occupancy of 85%+ coupled with an F&B growth of 25%.
