• Founded the Anishinaabek Caucus upon finding that the original people of this state was not represented in the political venue. • Assisted the Governor’s office with the goal that the Anishinaabek people would be appointed to the Governor of Michigan’s boards and commissions. The goal is to promote the Anishinaabek people into positions of power where we can create laws that will empower the people.• DNC 2020 Bernie Delegate – went to the DNC convention to vote for Bernie Sanders, as he had stated he would Shut Down Line 5 and no new fossil fuel infrastructure, which would effectively stop the Line 5 tunnel. • Working to canvass and interest Native people to run for office so that we can affect legislation that will protect the people, land and environment of this beautiful state.• 1st Voter Protection Line for the Native Americans - worked with the MDP to implement a voter protection line for statewide native voting issues this phone line was supported by Native attorneys & volunteers to answer questions and to protect the vote. • DNC Native American Caucus stated this was the 1st Native American Voter Protection Hotline in the United States. Most groups were working on Rocking the Native Vote. The Anishinaabek Caucus worked on making the Native vote count. • Working on issues that include Shut down Line 5/No tunnel, manoomin bill which names Manoomin as Michigan’s Native grain, Custer Statue Relocation, Missing, Murdered Indigenous People.• Co-discovered a 10,000 year old Cultural, Sacred Site at the bottom of the Straits of Mackinac, which the 12 tribes of Michigan have claimed as Anishinaabek Cultural Site.• Released important information regarding the Democrats, Anishinaabek Caucus, voting, Native rights to Facebook and our website. I manage our Facebook page & backup webmaster making sure that items posted in sync with our standards.

Called and texted these voters with voter information. • Attend Democratic conventions to learn more about voting and changes to the voting laws.

Organizer of the Indigenous grassroots movement, which included in the streets activism, bringing awareness and solutions to Indigenous issues.We tackled issues such as Line 5, MMIWG, cultural appropriation, supported Standing Rock and other issues from all over Michigan.

Modeled after Green Peace’s water activism Against Exxon/Mobil, Co-organizer the Pipe Out Paddle Up Flotilla to bring awareness to the danger lurking in the Straits of Mackinac, Enbridge’s Line 5.Worked to bring Tribal Leadership, Tribal citizens, Michigan citizens, environmental orgs, politicians and political candidates together to learn and network regarding Line 5.We pushed this issue and now the State of Michigan and the Governor of Michigan are in litigation to Shut Down Line 5.Many people working together are achieving what was thought impossible.
