Created event strategy to engage board members, current donors and prospects in the work of Jewish Home in order to increase from 1 development related event in 2011 to an annual average of 12 events of differing sizes in our key donor markets, Manhattan and Westchester. Events include stewardship programs, low barrier fundraising events, and small parlor meetings hosted by board members and key donors in their homes. Planned and executed the first annual fundraising Gala in 12 years, chaired by Marcia Riklis, Morris Offit and Tami Schneider, honoring 8 New Yorkers over the age of 80 including Klara and Larry Silverstein and Edie Windsor. The Eight over 80 Gala sold out with 500 people in attendance, and surpassed the fundraising goal by 30% raising $1.36 million toward the 2014 annual campaign. Replicated the effort in March 2015 with a new slate of honorees including Irwin Hochberg, Charles Diker, Joel Grey and Arlene Alda, surpassing the fundraising goal by 30% raising $1.33 million to date.Secured grant funding from the Himan Brown Charitable Trust for each of the last 3 years and developed the Himan Brown Symposium, which positioned Jewish Home Lifecare as a thought leader in the field of eldercare in New York City, hosting Dr. Zeke Emanuel in 2013 and Jason Furman, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, White House in 2014. Confirmed Dr. Atul Gawande for Fall 2015 Symposium. Lead a planning team of 5 for 2 key annual education programs, the Geriatric Palliative Care Conference and the Stein Lecture on Alzheimer’s Create presentations and write speeches for the SVP of Development and CEO of Jewish Home on an as needed basis. Coordinate site visits to Jewish Home in partnership with UJA-Federation of New York for high potential capital campaign prospectsNegotiate all vendor, consultant and speaker contracts related to event management and manage all relationships throughout each engagement

Managed development and implementation of 3-day program of the 2009 and 2010 General Assembly (GA), the signature annual event of JFNA for approximately 3000 participants. Programs included several US and Israeli politicians and dignitaries. For the 2010 GA program developed and implemented first ever “day of service” throughout the city of New Orleans conference participants.Steward several major philanthropic foundations in preparation for gift solicitation for GA sponsorship Created Request for Proposal program process for the 2009 and 2010 GA which resulted in over 220 program proposals and coordinated the participation of 13 national partner agencies and 4 national foundations in the GA programManage the ongoing work of the Tarrytown Group, a bi-annual meeting of 20 private foundation staff and CEOs of the largest 20 foundations to identify strategic areas of collaboration and project funding.Collaborated with the Jewish Funders Network on a 1-day conference for philanthropists with the goal of creating an ongoing funding community in the area of special needs education and social services. Consult to 157 local Jewish federations on issues related to strategic planning for Jewish Education and Jewish ContinuityLead project in Jewish social entrepreneurship with goal to replicate current start-up non-profit incubator models with multiple federations which included a 1-day seminar on social entrepreneurship in the Jewish community. Create and disseminate resources for local federations including allocations reports and community assessment tools Planned and implemented the first Jewish Renaissance and Renewal Inter-Community Consultation bringing together 30 communities and 15 national agencies
