The Eight over 80 Gala sold out with 500 people in attendance, and surpassed the fundraising goal by 30% raising $1.36 million toward the 2014 annual campaign. Replicated the effort in March 2015 with a new slate of honorees including Irwin Hochberg, Charles Diker, Joel Grey and Arlene Alda, surpassing the fundraising goal by 30% raising $1.33 million to date.Secured grant funding from the Himan Brown Charitable Trust for each of the last 3 years and developed the Himan Brown Symposium, which positioned Jewish Home Lifecare as a thought leader in the field of eldercare in New York City, hosting Dr. Zeke Emanuel in 2013 and Jason Furman, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, White House in 2014.
