Here I mainly work on data models, network algorithms and operational research in the field of transportation engineering. I recently completed a new intermodal approach for path searches, based on a multi label shortest path algorithm. I daily work with and into the Agile framework (test-driven approach, continuous releasing, scrum, jira).Recently I familiarized with Docker and Kubernetes.

I worked on problems of econometrics and finance, particularly regarding the optimization of forecastpredictions of stochastic models. Moreover I was involved in the development of server-side software applications as providers of economic services through the internet. Finally I was concerned with the study of the energy market.

Post-doctoral position at the Physics Department of “Politecnico diTorino”, in the project “Statistical Inference and Computational Biol-ogy”, funded by Human Genetics Foundation (HuGeF).

Scientific consultant for the CMP group at the Physics Department of“Politecnico di Torino”. I performed bioinformatic analysis of micro-array data from patients with two different types of prostate cancer.

I worked on different genome-related problems. In particular I analyzed gene expression data from two different species of S.I.V.-infected monkeys and studied protein-protein interaction networks in prokaryotes’ Two-Component Systems by means of amino acids correlation along the sequences. Moreover I was interested in developing a standard and efficient approach to the inverse Ising (Potts) problem, whose understanding seems to be crucial in several fields of Systems Biology.

I developed computer vision techniques to analyse the dynamics offlocks of birds. In particular I worked on image segmentation to capturethe waves of agitation produced in flocks as a response to predation.
