A tall order? Indeed, and worth the fight. My focus had always been on the brand and the consumer and their unique relationship. I found it hard to believe there could be so many people who are living on the street in Los Angeles, in a city where there really is no shortage of resources for people to eat, work and have a roof over their heads. With a comprehensive system for interim housing, supportive services and a proven path to permanent housing without falling back into homelessness, my only answer was to help in leading the charge.
