Cost engineer focused on Electric and Electronic Systems: - Cost extimation of Design and Development expenses from concept phase to SOP of electronic devices (ECUs, Sensors, Displays etc.).- Cost evaluation of Process Tools Equipment (fixed costs) required for manufacturing of LV Harnesses, HV Cables, PCB, PCBA, ECUs and Sensors.- Cost evaluation of Material and Process expenses (variable costs) for manufacturing and production of LV Harness, HV cables, PCBA, ECUs, Sensors and other electronic devices installed in the vehicle.

During my years in EMPower, I developed my skills and experiences in electric motors for Automotive applications, expanding my knowledges also in related fields like mechanic, manufacturing and Power Electronics. My job was mainly focused on:- Finite-element electromagnetic simulations of IPM electric motors (Flux, FluxMotor)- Lumped-parameters thermal analysis of electric motors (MotorCAD), with particular attention to correlation between simulations and test measurements.- Response to customer RFQ's for electric motor design compliant with customer targets and boundary conditions. - Suppliers management in order to define manufacturing processes of electric motor parts.- Cooperation with customer for integration of the electric motor and related Inverter Motor Control Unit in the final application (super-car and high performance vehicles), software strategy definition and software validations.- Testing of electric propulsion system, with test bench and circuit experiences.- Planning and technical support for production activities of Electric Motor and Inverter Motor Control Units.- Project manager and testing&validation technical reference for electronic device (DC/DC converter) for Motorsport applications (MotoGP)
