As a Business Analyst at one of the Top 50 boutique management consulting and research firms, my work was centered on developing strategic recommendations using data-driven methodologies for clients in the social impact, education, telecommunications, and consumer goods sectors. In addition to this work, I conducted strategic due diligence to generate value-adding and actionable insights for several of the firm's private equity clients.

As a summer analyst, I adopted the same responsibilities as a full-time management consultant. During this time, I actively worked on a variety of client engagements in the higher education, private equity, and impact investing sectors. This work included completing strategic due diligence on potential international impact investment opportunities, competitive landscape analyses, regulatory and environmental assessments, among others.

While working for Dr. DeDecker I took on a variety of roles and activities. My primary role as a public relations coordinator involved developing high-quality deliverables and messaging in order to maintain positive relationships between Dr. DeDecker’s practice, referring doctors, and the public. This also included assisting with the preparation and facilitation of a large annual event for all referring doctors. When a need arose for additional support in the billing and finance department, I took on additional responsibilities for several months. This included analyzing patients' insurance coverage and benefit eligibility to provide them with an accurate approximation of procedural cost as well as transferring insurance data into a patient narrative database along with corresponding fee estimates to be used by office staff for patient care and the keeping of accurate patient records.

As a public relations and social media consultant for this company, I worked closely with the founder to pursue new projects and support business development. I developed original content for social media as well as created marketing deliverables. I also managed the organization's various online platforms. Lastly, I assisted in the creation of compelling and interactive deliverables suited to the needs of our clients.

As a Goff Fellow, I worked within self-directed teams to develop deep, interdisciplinary knowledge and solve real, complex business problems experienced by firms in the local, national, and global communities. Through this experience, I learned how to conduct deep research and analysis on organizations and their challenges in order to construct strategic recommendations that create value. Moreover, I actively engaged in compiling data and transforming research into meaningful narratives that would provide clear insight and drive impact. Over the course of this fellowship, my work included providing competitive landscape analysis and growth opportunity assessments to clients in the education, mental health, and technology industries as well as using quantitative research techniques to understand stakeholders' needs/concerns during a local governmental entity's $110 million construction project.

In this position, I led efforts to coordinate and execute recruiting visits, trips, and events for current and prospective students to support the rapid growth of the Business Scholars Program, an honors program for students at the David Eccles School of Business. This included developing engaging, informative content for program marketing and recruitment. In addition to this, I worked with the Associate Director of the Business Scholars Program and various groups across the Eccles School to develop and implement a new program designed to track and enhance immediate and long-term student engagement within the program and Eccles School more broadly.

As an Eccles Ambassador, I had the opportunity to work closely with a team of faculty and student leaders to facilitate an honors business program for approximately 350 freshmen students. As part of this position, I personally mentored 12 freshmen students while providing consistent communication, feedback on performance, and resources to aid students' success. In addition to my role as a mentor, I was actively involved in recruiting top-tier students for the program. This required communicating with prospects through diverse mediums as well as developing and delivering high-quality presentations to both parents and students.
