Commercial airline pilot (B747-400 / -8 rated) and instructor (B747-400 / -8 TRI and B737 300-900 / MAX SFI). Founder & Chairman of the Swiss Airline Training Academy GmbH dedicated to the training of airline pilots & personnel. As a pilot, I operate the B747 in Cargo Operations having previously operated passenger flights on intercontinental routes as a training captain. I have had the pleasure of operating the Boeing 737 aircraft series from the 200 through to the 800 (including the MAX) as a training captain in airline, corporate and charter operations.Current non-flying activities include General Maximus Pet Products and Swiss Airline Training Academy GmbH, both based in Switzerland where GenMax is a registered European and Amazon Brand.In the Air Force I was fortunate to fly supersonic fighter aircraft and large transport jets in various roles. During this time I was fortunate enough to be involved in various support missions for the African Union and United Nations as well as serving as a Unit Maintenance Test Pilot/ Personnel (MTP) on various projects on fighter aircraft, helicopters and large transport jets. The MTP undertakes projects under the auspices of an experimental test pilot at national level while operating freely at unit level for squadron requirements.I am qualified in various business disciplines and have run as well as have assisted to set-up and grow businesses in different industries such as the internet, design, engineering, oil, aviation and security industry among others. Having obtained a business management certificate at university and having built actual experience in various fields from corporate, to sales and management while also expanding to advertising and marketing, enables me to be an entrepreneur in a wide-scope of disciplines. During my aviation career and business career, I have had the fortune of working with heads of state, politicians, military dignitaries, notable business people, corporate leaders, airline customers, charter customers, own employees, own clients and people from all walks of life who have all been the source of many valuable lessons.My working experience started as the Founder and Chief Instructor of 2 martial arts schools after years of competition at national and international level in full-contact and also point fighting disciplines. The schools continued for many years until I handed over the reins to follow a military career as an air force pilot. The schools have trained students who won a number of provincial and national titles as well as international championships.
