I support the Tax for Growth (T4G) Initiative by contributing to policy-focused research, data gathering and analysis, stakeholder engagements, among others. The initiative supports tax administrators and policymakers in countries in Africa and Asia with evidence-based research and data-driven solutions to develop effective approaches to make taxation work.

Colombia

• Deployed the institutional global report about the International Experience of National Climate Change Funds worldwide by doing qualitative and quantitative research. The results of my analysis are being reported to.
• Developed an investigation project regarding the subnational public investment in resilience and adaptation for Climate Change in Colombia as part of the Country Climate and Development Report of the World Bank 2022 in.
• Deployed the Annual Operating Plan 2022 for the Strengthening Public Financial Management program in Colombia in coordination with the Task Team Leader for Colombia.
• Supported the Public Financial Management program team in Colombia by developing a monitoring tool of the projects of the program to keep track of their progress.

Bogotá D.C., Colombia

• Collected and analysed information to give technical support to the Strengthening Public Financial Management project in Colombia.
• Wrote and presented projects’ reports to Colombian Government Institutions such as The Ministry of Finance and The National Planning Department.
• Assisted Senior Public Sector Specialists in Latin America and Washington D.C. by investigating, analysing and reporting data related to Public Financial Management, Quality of Public Administration, Spending Review.
• Advised the Colombian score in the 2020 Country Policy and Institutional Assessment (CPIA) of The World Bank by investigating and evaluating Colombian Public Sector Management.

Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia

• Devised a simulation model based on System Dynamics as a tool for the formulation of the Health Justice Alliance policy project.
• Presented the model results to the National Planning Department board, who considered this approach as an innovative methodology to solve public policy issues in Colombia.
• The National Planning Department is conducting a pilot based on the System Dynamics model to let vulnerable people have access to health and judicial services countrywide.
