Chair of Branch. Lead and promote Prospect Union within the Fund; support the branch officials through coaching, advice and motivation; strong believer in consensual decision making; bring new ideas to the table; support individual cases; highlight and promote the achievements of Prospect in the Fund leading to membership growth; negotiate with senior management on pay and terms and conditions; represent and consult members and ballot on issues within the Fund and build trusting relationships. Lead and manage funding teams which designed, successfully delivered and evaluated multimillion pound funding grant and non lottery programmes for public, private and voluntary sectors across Wales. This included a £16million joint European Funding Programme to support people get back into work, training or education and Awards for All which is a quick and easy way to get small National Lottery grants of between £500 and £5,000 to community organisations in order to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need.
