Andrea Tomasi is a senior researcher at FBK. From 2016, he joined the "Knowledge Transfer Area" as coordinator of International Relations with the specific role of promoting scientific collaborations with major international research centers and universities to facilitate the transfer and exchange of knowledge and innovative technologies developed. Furthermore, in order to encourage the relapse of technological knowledge on the local territory, it is responsible for the promotion and support of FBK's spin-offs and start-ups.Andrea Tomasi has more than 30 years of research experience mainly developed in the field of functional innovative materials. In April 1996, FBK appointed him as representative and responsible in the Committee by the Convention with the University of Trento for joint research activities, and until 2008 he was responsible for the plasma spray laboratory coordinating the related group of search. From January 2008 to 2016, he worked in the technological district of the Trentino region of Rovereto as head of the "Innovation and Technology Transfer" team.Thanks to the skills acquired over many years, and also to the collaboration with numerous universities and research centers, has promoted, developed and coordinated numerous research projects, both nationally and internationally (COST, 6th and 7th Framework Program, Horizon 2020 ). He has also published more than 120 papers in scientific journals and has been repeatedly invited to present him scientific results in important national and international conferences.
