When I first saw the ocean at age 3, I ran straight into the waves even though it didn’t know how to swim, and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I’m a passionate advocate for protecting marine ecosystems, knitting together law, policy, and science to help my clients and partners achieve their conservation goals. I’m honored to work with and learn from other advocates across the U.S. and abroad, and offer carefully thought-out, honest advice with humor (and occasionally a little spice). I’m down for a courtroom fight when it’s necessary—and it often is. But one of my greatest joys is working in cross-disciplinary teams and coalitions to develop and pursue creative, proactive conservation initiatives and policy reforms. I’m proud of the successes we’ve achieved together--and always looking for ways to build on them.
