Partners in Recovery program ( PIR) focusses on people across Australia who are living with severe and persistent mental illness and complex support needs that require response from multiple agencies. My role as a SF is to facilitate that multiple sectors, services and support programs work together for people living with mental health issues in order to help them to function on their own and have more control over their lives.As a support facilitator my role includes finding and connect support programs and services that are the best fit for the needs of each individual- client in areas such as mental health, education, employment, budgeting, housing, parenting skills, justice, connection with the community and alcohol and other drugs.

The Refugee and Asylum Seeker service provides support and protection to children, young people, families and others with complex needs who arrive in Australia seeking asylum. As a Cultural support coordinator of the National Immigration Support Service (NISS) a broad range of supports are delivered to asylum seekers who are living in the Australian community, while their immigration status is resolved.
