The Project is located in Azerbaijan and consists of a network of subsea wells, two offshore platforms and an onshore gas terminal.The Subsea Interface Lead has Single Point Accountability (SPA) for the Subsea Team interface system for the Shah Deniz 2 (SD2) Subsea Engineering and Marine Installation Project Teams and for tracking interface close-out performance.The Interface Lead provides assurance of the interface process, confirming issues are being addressed in a timely manner and raises issues where necessary for management attention. The Project consists in an FPSO and a deepwater network of subsea wells, the field is located in the Mediterranean sea.The Interface Manager ensures that interfaces between the Installation Contractor, the FPSO ship owner, the Subsea equipment supplier and Company drilling department happens in a smooth way and ensure interface are timely addressed.He is responsible of ensuring interfaces with local and National authorities are duly managed and that legislative issues are promptly identified and managed.The Interface Manager acts as deputy Project Manager.The Italian unconventional Projects Project Engineer is responsible of the coordination and performance of its department Projects’ Concept Selection and FEED phases. He interfaces with the Company R&D department and support internal authorisation and verification process.

Blacktip Project is an offshore (platform and pipeline) and onshore (gas treatment plant) development in the Australian Northern Territories with total Capex over 1.5 Billion US$.The project is highly challenging and complex as it is the first operated development of Eni totally run in Australia, and is characterised by a complex network of Contractors for the engineering, procurement and construction services.The Interface Manager coordinates information flow between different Contractors and guarantees Company controls the information. He is responsible that Contractors Technical Queries and Deviation are addressed and answered by the Project Team in due time.He owns Project Change Management process and coordinates with the Engineering Manager and the Service Manager in order to guarantee every Project Change is highlighted as early as possible, assessed and, if necessary, passed over to Project Manager for final decision.He is as well responsible of Project expediting service, coordinating and directing the expediting team in order to guarantee Vendors packages are completed in accordance to project schedule, cost and quality standards.He coordinates with the Project QA Manager to guarantee items are designed and procured in line with latest QA industry and Company standard.Starting from January 09 to June ’09 by appointment of the Project Manager the Interface Manger covered the role of Engineering Manager while a new Engineering Manager was nominated. Management of the piping design/procurement/fabrication and the automation design/procurement/fabrication remained under the Interface Manager for the whole duration of the project.
