Hello! I'm Andrea. I grew up in Houston, TX as a first generation American citizen. My parents come from different sides of the world, and we own a coffee importing business which involves frequent travel. I've had the opportunity to travel to various countries with my parents, where I learned not only about the coffee industry, but also the experience of being exposed to such unique people and cultures. Traveling has become second nature to me, especially since my second home is in Colombia (my mother's side). I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and am fluent in both.I began my working career in the service industry in 2013, and began studying graphic design at the University of Houston (main campus) in 2015. I took 2 year's worth of design courses and worked for a local print shop for 2.5 years while attending UH. My experience working at the print store opened endless opportunities to meet various local artists, designers, architects, entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, etc., whom have inspired me to pursue my passion for art and design. Working with them allowed me to explore all kinds of projects such as menus, business cards, posters, blueprints, photo touch-ups, brochures, and the list continues. I'm always eager to learn new skills and improving existing ones. I firmly believe in trying new things and facing challenges with the right attitude!
