CurrentWe teach brave communication strategies to companies and teams who seek to achieve the extraordinary through trust and collaboration. I have written two books on the uses of mindfulness practice and improvised comedy skills for engaging the brave and often difficult conversations that ultimately create culture. I speak on this topic and enjoy facilitating staff retreats on subjects connected to my books:--> Forgiveness as a leadership skill--> Wellbeing and mental health--> Navigating difficult conversation--> Creating cultures of joyful collaborationThe CMIT team offers 6 different virtual staff trainings teaching:- our framework for navigating various facets of brave communication- harassment prevention and intervention- giving and receiving difficult feedback- responding to resistance, pushback and defensiveness for those leading culture change initiatives (full day in person or virtual)- anticipating others emotional responses and learning to pivot accordingly- strategies for easing feelings of anxiety and overwhelm before, during or after a difficult conversation We also provide 1:1 support for staff members seeking guidance for a difficult conversation or situation, and offer a variety of custom training solutions for teams. #speaker #motivationalspeaker #publicspeaker #publicspeaking #eventspeaker #leadershipspeaker #authorspeaker

CurrentI perform regularly on two improv teams at Arcade Comedy Theater. Kill Screen is a long form improv, Harold team, and The Smallest Show in Town is an independently produced variety show that performs monthly at Arcade. There are a variety of acts including improv which is inspired by the stories, songs and other acts in the show. I served for one year on the Arcade Leaderboard as the Youth Outreach Coordinator responsible for booking our family-friendly, short form improv house team (The Penny Arcade) for local organizations in the community. The improv in this show is inspired by suggestions from children and is delivered in a Who's Line Is It Anyway style show.
