I work primarily with professional adults in individual therapy. Most of my clients are successful, career driven individuals who have stress from their job, family, or relationship. Some report feeling down, having low energy, not sleeping well, not being interested in things they used to enjoy. Others may be experiencing anxiety or depression, or lack of motivation, which can be crippling and keep someone stuck in a rut, not living as fulfilling of a life as they want to be. Unresolved trauma and depression can slowly deteriorate our joy in things and ability to connect to others. You may have tried different ways to cope with little success and come to realize it might be time for an outside professional to assist you in functioning at your highest potential.
