Drives oversight and strategic planning for the success of Oregon's professional learning system serving early learning professionals and practitioners. Responsible for oversite of, and collaboration with, various partners within the early learning sector to address issues of workforce development, early learning quality, and equitable access. Working closely with Child Care Resource and Referral agencies state wide to ensure technical assistance supports are in place, early learning programs are connected is a key function, and focus. In collaboration with peers and practitioner, ensures that the vision of an early learning professional learning system that is aligned, supported and diverse is centered. Through clear communication and close partnerships, provides guidance in support of a culture of continuous quality improvement, job-embedded professional learning through coaching and network cohorts, educator well-being, articulated quality pathways, workforce recruitment and retention strategies and on-going evaluation and research of Oregon's professional learning system. Represents the Early Learning Division in community, and in particular, as the Chairperson of the Educator Advancement Council and on the Oregon Inclusion State Leadership team.

Responsible for the development and accomplishment of the goals of the Head Start Collaboration Office (HSCO) by managing or coordinating specific state wide HSCO projects or initiatives that are aligned with the Office of Head Start (OHS) and Regional X priorities. The Head Start Collaboration Director works across systems in an effort to improve coordination and delivery of early childhood education and cognitive development enrichment to children in Oregon by promoting partnerships among Head Start grantees, state and local governments, and the private sector to help ensure that children and families have access to culturally responsive comprehensive services. The Head Start Collaboration Director works with a cross section of partners, early learning contractors, and early learning stakeholders, including the Oregon Head Start Association, to meet the priority goals of the OHS, Early Learning Division, and the HSCO. Additional responsibilities include supportive management of Oregon Preschool Promise, collaboration with Spark (QRIS), support for Child Care Resource and Referral agencies, Early Learning Hubs, and grant lead for Oregon's Partnership for Pre-Kindergarten Improvement.

As the lead for the Partnership for Pre-Kindergarten Improvement implementation team, responsibilities included grant management, program development, system development for quality improvement in publicly funded preschool programs statewide, promotion of cross program and systems collaboration, implementation of state wide professional development programs, policy development and implementation, and ensuring the equity lens is being applied to PPI work and systems development. Responsibilities also included relationship building with stakeholders, funders, peers within Oregon and other states and community partners (including research partners). High-level support is provided to Community Systems team to ensure evidence based principles are guiding professional development systems evaluation and implementation.

Provided collaborative leadership for temple programs and congregation, in partnership with Rabbi, Educational Director and congregational leadership. Conducted planning, coordination, supervision and implementation of education programming, youth and family programming, social justice programming, holiday and spiritual programming, temple governance and daily operations. Provided support to parent volunteer teachers.

Responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality comprehensive early childhood services by managing and supervising all aspects of assigned Head Start and/or Early Head Start program options, including center based, homebase, and locally designed option.Achievements included:Revamp of Program Area Supervisory team, resulting in stronger accountability, effective supervision strategies, implementation of collaborative leadership model and higher staff retention rate. Revamp included providing additional professional development training for all supervisors.Implementation of Preschool Promise program, in partnership with United Way and Washington County Early Learning HubStrengthened relationships with all school districts in Washington County, including expansion into Sherwood School District

Responsibilities included supervision of subsidize payment team and community programs team, day-to-day operation of programs and staff that include providing childcare and resource referrals, conducting outreach to clients and community partners to promote services across San Mateo County, act as 4Cs representative in countywide meetings as needed, collaborate with other community organizations, associations, local government (including partnering with San Mateo County Office of Education in community planning and grant management) and community colleges, oversee implementation of QRIS programs through out San Mateo county, and ensuring data and reports are collected and completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Developmental appropriate Jewish Early Childhood Education program for 100+ children, infants through pre-kindergarten. Provides a nurturing and education experience for each child, focusing on Jewish values and a whole child education. Small non-profit school for low income, at risk families.Responsibilities included-Supervision and support of faculty, faculty evaluations, conducting weekly faculty meetings, creating and implementing program policies, ensuring program remained high-quality, and maintaining Title 5 Licensing regulations-Conferencing with families, organizing Parent Advisory Committee, organizing monthly family socials and orientating new families-Direct teaching of children, recording anecdotal notes, completing developmental assessments, creation of child portfolios, conducting home visits, planning and presenting developmentally appropriate curriculum, as well as planning and presenting appropriate daily circle times with Primary Care group.-Worked as part of an administrative team to conduct program fundraising and represent program to community and donating organizations such as United Way.
