About Andrea Reigle

Rounding out a decade in education, nonprofit management and operations, I’ve nurtured a balance between skills in HR, budgeting, grant writing and compliance and intangible skills such as leading a team, direct service with youth and families and managing challenging situations and relationships in the workplace. As the Assistant Director of Aspire! I expanded my knowledge of the K-12 system and evidence-based interventions for at-risk youth. I built upon my Masters in Public Policy econometrics and program evaluation classes as I created our year-end program analysis, a data-driven summary of our yearly activities and our students outstanding results and a variety of special reports for our funders. I continued my experience leading teams of early professionals through new both interpersonal and skills based obstacles. Perhaps the greatest and most unexpected experiences were those of direct service in the classrooms – an opportunity to think on my toes and model the ethos of care and positive behavior management embodied in Aspire!’s practices.Prior to Aspire! I held a variety of positions at The George Washington University where I tackled projects from summer program management for 500+ students each year to refining database practices and leading our team through university wide changes in CRMs and admission practices. By the time I left GW, I was the acting Dean of Non-Degree Students, was on a task force to create a process for recruiting and accepting undocumented students and was responsible for on-boarding new programs. In between I led summer student recruitment across Asia, maintained a staff of 50 part time workers annually, developed new relationships and MOUs with potential partners and was in charge of dual degree programs and opportunities for high school students at GW.
