During my internship at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York City, USA, I had the privilege to contribute to significant achievements and gain valuable insights into climate change and its implications. Here are some key highlights from my internship:- Collaborated with the science communication team for the Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP), actively contributing to enhancing public understanding of the impact of climate change on agriculture. Through collaborative efforts, we effectively communicated the importance of sustainable agricultural practices and raised awareness of the challenges and opportunities in this field.- Engaged in writing projects that involved creating impactful content for AgMIP's webpage. Leveraging my writing skills, I helped share valuable insights and fostered meaningful dialogue on climate change and its implications for agricultural practices. These written pieces served as platforms for disseminating knowledge, engaging with a wider audience, and promoting informed discussions on the intersection of climate change and agriculture.- Played a significant role in supporting the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) team during my internship. I conducted extensive research and actively contributed to establishing a robust global network of stakeholders. By identifying key individuals, including city mayors, actively involved in climate actions. These efforts contributed to collective endeavors aimed at addressing climate change challenges at the urban level.Through these experiences, I deepened my commitment to addressing climate change and making a positive impact in the field. They strengthened my understanding of the interconnectedness between climate change, agriculture, and urban environments, fueling my determination to contribute to sustainable solutions and promote collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
