After leaving full time journalism to bring up our family, I freelanced for several local magazines before developing my skills in several new directions. I provided admin support for a property management company, learning about residential block management and basic accounts support for another local business providing equestrian services and horsebox sales. Always keen to learn and add new strings to my bow, I achieved my AAT level 2 accounting qualification studying through evening classes.I was lucky enough to be offered a job in a primary school and later in a high school as administrator, which fitted perfectly around our children's school holidays. Last year I had the opportunity to bring together all my skills in admin, writing, marketing and property management with a new role at Overbury Enterprises. I am enjoying once again adding to and developing my skills in a forward thinking, unusual environment. I love to learn and very much enjoy self-development.In my 'spare' time I also update social media and my husband's website, www.Harmony Kingdom.co.uk, where he sells his hand-carved collectible animal figurines as well as fitting in some audio typing.
