- Coordination and management of projects to integrate the private sector in development cooperation mechanism in the spirit of 2030 Agenda and to achieve Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development;- Identification, appraisal, promotion and follow up of investment and technology transfer opportunities, and capacity building activities in developing countries;- Institutional relations with national and international bodies such as Ministries, International Organizations, local authorities, industrial and sector associations, independent agencies, private companies;- Organization of BtoB meetings, conferences, specialized investment business forums, high level seminars, company visits, study tour and implementation of the Delegate Programme;- Investors relations and assistance to private companies in defining joint-ventures, technology transfers, commercial agreements;- Realization of detailed assessment on investment climate, private sector development and investment policies in developing countries;- Participation as a delegate/speaker in various forums, seminars and business events in Italy and abroad.

- Planning, promotion and organization of economic cooperation activities between Bahrain and Europe/Italy;- Identification and promotion of joint investments and trading between Bahrain and Europe/Italythrough specific industrial projects and related technology transfer opportunities;- Promotion of local International fairs and business events to potential investors and technology suppliers from Europe/Italy (supported more than 60 Italian business missions to Bahrain);- Coordination between UNIDO and relevant private agencies and institutions in Bahrain and Europe/Italy to promote investments in Bahrain in selected industrial fields;- Networking activity with local and foreign SMEs and Institutions to enhance the business relations between Bahrain and Italy;- Providing information on investment policies, procedures and incentives to enter in the Bahraini market.
