Loan Analyst Specialist
CurrentReview and prepare forensic loan files for loan audit review. RVOE (reverification of employment) process. Provide a thorough, scientific investigation of the loans employment and income documentation to determine whether the lender has violated any federal, state, or local laws in the servicing of the loan at the time of origination. Create Research files and casework reports using: LexisNexis, Equifax, Secretary of State searches, and United States Pacer court records to create a clear picture of the borrowers financial state. Research self-employed businesses listed on the 1003 application for status updates. Analyze and verify employment and income information from the application for all employed borrowers. Contact and request information from professionals in HR or Payroll following regulatory compliance. Utilizes 3rd party verifiers such as The Work Number, Thomas & Co and various other employment verifiers to investigate and confirm information was accurate. Report compliance and falsification findings using the Loan Origination System (LOS) search for falsification. QC and complete orders through accurate data entry into software systems. Maintain production standards and adjusts to department changes in workflow and pace to accommodate sudden high demand of production volume. Follow up on documents, orders, and various requests made through the loan process. Answer incoming employer phone calls and emails accurately, courteously, and in a timely fashion.
