Brighton

Internship consisted of several varied jobs including further and up to date training on light set ups for photoshoots of different nature, including a music video, set building of big proportions, scanning and retouching for archiving, tracking the progress and clients’ selections as digital workflow on Capture One software, working on the design of studio’s publications, amongst other day-to-day studio duties such as cleaning and repainting the studios and general tidying. Having worked closely with studio photographers has been a great opportunity which developed my understanding of working as a part of team, being able to provide my assistance towards a team objective.

I have assisted the photographer Laura Hynd in her day-to-day tasks, which included scanning and organising previous work, assisting on shoots, research and PR work, among other responsibilities. This experience has been greatly rewarding as I could learn the way a practicing photographer works in the arts and editorial environments. It has also furthered my abilities to organise a day’s work and prioritise responsibilities.
