To stay up to date in the legal field, I am currently pursuing a legal certificate which requires completion of training modules and knowledge checks on up to 22 available software programs/courses, e.g., Microsoft Teams, MS Excel 2019, Best Authority 5, LiveNote 9, TimeMap 6, CaseMap 13, Clio, NetDocuments, TrialDirector 6, Nuance Power PDF Advanced 2, and CloudNine Concordance.

I completed this CLE course which explored how the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the practice of law and introduced new software and technologies to implement to keep up with the changing world.

In this role, I coordinated and collaborated with health professionals to provide patient services. I supported the Director as administrator of the CBORD system.

Here, I obtained and organized all necessary items for labs.

In this role, I supported all operating companies as a member of the Internal Review & Response department. I directly supported the Chief Compliance Officer of US and Canada. I engaged in internal investigations through interviews and data analysis and held independent meetings and conference calls with senior members of Legal and Compliance departments, among them CCOs, CFOs and General Counsel. I tracked escalated incidents, prepared and maintained documentation and reports, and collaborated with senior compliance members on relevant actions. I participated in monthly Latin American and Caribbean conference calls and conducted relevant research. ■ Served as Incident Review Panel member to determine whether to retain or forfeit commissions or impose disciplinary action. ■ Conducted internal investigations through interviews and analysis.■ Tracked third-party provider status for Latin America and the Caribbean. ■ Utilized Westlaw Compliance Advisor to track important compliance trends in the insurance industry.

I managed civil, employment, antitrust, intellectual property, and other cases. I prepared affidavits, legal correspondence, and electronic filings, attended and assisted with trial and deposition preparation, and provided associated functions as needed. I liaised between attorneys, paralegals, and coordinators to support directives. ■ Trained, supervised, and delegated assignments to new and junior paralegals. ■ Maintained voluminous case files; oversaw and participated in large document collections and productions. ■ Shepardized and Bluebooked cite cases.

In this role, I provided direct support to the Deputy Head of Litigation, Associate General Counsel and Vice President, Associate General Counsel in telecommunications-focused litigation. I held independent discussions with in-house, outside, and opposing counsel regarding case status and resolution, including settlement. I conducted case research and analysis and reviewed matters to assess status. ■ Served as point of contact for CT Corporation regarding all billing and service of process issues. Leveraged Lawpack case law search system for entry and closure of matters. ■ Played key role in budget preparation incorporating outside counsel status report review. ■ Maintained library of decisions of interest and other legal precedents. ■ Notified Risk Management of new major matters by drafting a memo summarizing the Complaint and other relevant issues.■ Drafted case status reports for the purpose of obtaining settlement authority.

I was promoted to this role to provide support for busy brand integrity and compliance legal practice groups. I analyzed government requests for information and subpoenas, recommended appropriate legal responses, and drafted instructions to cross-functional departments regarding obligations arising thereof. I supported compliance-related training and associated risk assessment, record keeping, auditing, and monitoring. I drafted replies to consumer letters for attorney review. ■ Organized law department staff orientations and trained new practice group employees. ■ Tracked status of law department and practice group projects pertaining to counterfeit litigation, internet litigation, production of documents in response to requests for information, and consumer letters.
