About Andrea Carolina Fonseca Torres

I have been working in Tourism since seven (7) years ago. I started in Tourism as a bilingual assistant, making transfers in-out, that means, wait for people in the airport and go with them until the hotel. During the road, I provide them general information about the area where your hotel is located, transport, weather, places that they could visit, money, security, and answer their questions. After learning about the activity in the airport, I decided been Tour Guide and I finished the studies in that area.That experiences gave it to me the opportunity to know people around the world and thanks to that, I have been recognized inside of the travel agencies as a tender, responsible and with knowledge about our city and country. I think that happened because I am Professional as a Journalist or Social Communicator too, and it is a huge complement career because I like to invest time learning about history, places, living stiles, culture, but at the same time, to read the news and see what’s happening in the world so at the end I can give to the tourist a context of how we live, our traditions, culture and folklore, and make comparisons but also similarities between countries. However, I also had experience as an operation assistant inside of a Travel Agency and front desk service in a hostel.As a Social Communicator, I worked in a Military Foundation, where my responsibility was traveling with them recorder all and make interviews, videos and after write articles to send them to the different newspapers and media. Finally, also, I worked as a freelancer writing for blogs.
