The Association of Local Government Information Management (ALGIM) represents the national and international interests of the information, communication and technology (ICT) sector within New Zealand’s city, district and regional councils.

I was approached by an existing member of the board to get more involved with ALGIM at a governance level.

Developing, maintaining and co-ordinating systems and practices in the management of council’s information resources to ensure that the quality of information meets or exceeds customer needs and expectations.
