I’m part on the Next Generation Climate Board Advisor for Mexico and Central America ● Identify and recommend grantee groups for funding rounds organized within youradvisory board;● Review, on occasion, grants from allied global advisor networks or thematic boards thatfall within your country;● Participate in funding rounds and an annual face-to-face advisory board meeting;● Participate in the refinement and development of advisory board strategies;● Assist grantees in completing the due diligence forms required to receive a grant;● If necessary, help grantees to identify potential fiscal sponsors when they cannotreceive funding directly;● Facilitate communication between grantees and Global Greengrants’ staff inBoulder;● Conduct periodic follow-up, monitoring, and mentoring with grantees to help ensureaccountability in the expenditure of funds and to help granteessucceed;● Assist in the collection of grantee reports and read reports from past grantees;● Assist Global Greengrants in evaluating the outcomes of grants and advisory boardstrategies through participation in reflection during the annual meeting; and● Share with Global Greengrants and its donors stories, news articles, photographs,and other media that highlight the work of grantees.
