• Supervise Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Graduate Assistant providing guidance and collaboration for program priorities• Coordinate departmental assessment initiatives, including the office’s annual report, first destination surveys of each graduating class, and ongoing assessment of workshops and classroom presentations• Develop, plan, and present workshops and/or webinars on career-related topics, including job and graduate school search• Provide career advice and counseling to students in the College’s three schools as well as alumni• Critique résumés, cover letters, and personal statements for undergraduate and graduate students in all majors and fields • Collaborate with multiple offices to host events with a career focus• Train faculty and staff on how to utilize Handshake (job posting platform) for the purpose of posting work-study and on-campus positions; educate students on how to search for and apply for job and internship opportunities, as well as sign up for career fairs• Design, develop, and maintain all aspects of the office in all social media outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the CHC portal)• Market all aspects of the Career Development program including designing brochures, publicity of programs and activities, and newsletters utilizing various software programs including Canva and MailChimp• Publicize employment opportunities and events via Chestnut Hill College’s Career Management System, Handshake• Work in partnership with the Communications Department to ensure the Career Development website is up to date and assist in creating and updating the virtual Career Development Office page called ‘From Hill to Home”• Serve on the steering committee for the Delaware Valley Education Consortium (DVEC) Teacher Job Fair• Maintain the upkeep of the Career Closet by organizing all incoming donations as well as regular promotion to the community
