With 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry as both a cardiac sonographer and clinical research coordinator, I’ve embarked on an exciting journey into the field of Environmental Science and Sustainability. Driven by my profound passion for the natural world, this transition marks an important point in my career, paving a path toward positive change in oneself and the world around us. I recognize the power of collaboration among individuals and businesses, enabling everyone to work toward decarbonization and sustainability goals. The guiding principles of ESG, science-based targets, data metrics, circular economy, regenerative solutions, renewable energy, electrification, recycling programs, green infrastructure, sustainable transportation, environmental health, industry research and innovation all spark excitement within me. I am committed and enthusiastic about making a positive and significant impact on environmental, social, and economic aspects of our world. In an effort to honor my passion and exciting career path, I am pursuing the Professional Master’s of Science degree in Environmental Sciences and Environmental Management Certificate at Oregon State University. My purpose is to help organizations envision and communicate their unique sustainability development pathways. I live with my husband and children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In our spare time, we love playing outdoors, visiting neighboring parks (Lake Wilderness & Rattlesnake Lake), volunteering within King Country, and visiting the Museum of Flight.
