I worked in the Financial Lines-Professional Liability department. We analyzed information and screen applicants to determine the risks involved in insuring a client. We also evaluated clients with underwriting software tools such as, AI QUIC, EMIS, EPRS, SCORE, Sales Report, Sales force, IntelliRisk, i Suite. We appropriately determined premiums and the amounts of coverage in accordance to underwriter’s capacity and appetite. I participated in AIG Innovation Boot camp team that involved several people from different departments working together to develop new innovative ways to stay ahead of the industry.I also assisted one of the Senior Underwriters in maintaining the Passport portfolio that is available in over 130 countries and jurisdictions.
