I find that there is always something new to learn in the educational field. i try to keep up with the research and new ideas and theories that are discussed. My schooling and professional experiences have prepared me to be a hard working and dedicated teacher. I hold a Master's Degree and certifications in both Early Childhood and Childhood Education and additional certification in Student's With Disabilities. I have a passion for working with children with special needs and a desire to work in the field of Early Intervention. Through my experiences as a teacher I collaborated well with other teachers, therapists, and parents who acted as stake holders in the children's education. I taught children from, different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds as well as children with various disabilities, including but not limiting; Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. I enjoy watching my students learn and grow through the years. It is always amazing to watch a child master a new skill or accomplish a task that they were working on, and to know that I was part of the learning process.
