With my BS in Psychology and a natural love for leadership roles, relationships, community and communication are at the heart of everything I do. Whether I'm bringing a script to life in my voiceover work, amplifying the voices of women through production of their podcasts, or leading a team of Walk MS volunteers, people-oriented positions are my jam.For the past two and a half years I have honed my project management, customer relations, and sales skills by developing and managing my own business where I have supported the businesses of up to 10 clients simultaneously with production of their podcasts, administrative tasks, social media management, and event planning. I love collaborating with brilliant, creative people, however that may look.One of my proudest achievements in this position was spearheading the planning of a client's theatrical tour through the UK, ending at the world-famous, Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I was responsible for: venue research, acquisition and communication; social media marketing; donor relations; and fundraiser event planning. In support of this project, I successfully planned and executed a silent auction fundraiser within a tight deadline of only 30-days including; auction item procurement; hiring and managing performers and volunteers; marketing; venue communication; ticket sales; and managing and emceeing the event itself. My client and I were delighted that the event sold out and her fundraising goals were exceeded.Because of my natural people-skills, I also tend to fall into leadership roles in my work and community. From my early days as the Student Body President of my high school, to Team Captain of a Walk MS team, to Student Manager at Western Washington University's largest campus dining hall, leading a team is my bread-and-butter. One of my proudest achievements as Walk MS Team Captain was during my first year in college. Not only did I rally most of the freshman in my dorm to enthusiastically volunteer (a feat in itself!), but I created and led innovative fundraising efforts, earning our dorm council the "Best Philanthropic Project" award from the Campus Housing Office and raising thousands of dollars towards MS research. I've had a ton of fun continuing these efforts post-collegiately by organizing fundraising events like comedy shows, concerts, and Thanksgiving pie sales (baked by yours truly and a couple lovely friends).
