In Fall 2011, Andrea accepted the Head Women's Lacrosse Coaching position at UC San Diego. In April 2014, the Tritons were coined the WWLL Division II Champions in Santa Barbara. Andrea was also named Coach of the Year during the league championship. In addition, UCSD had their first ever appearance at the WCLA National Championship tournament in Virginia Beach, May 2014.
