Manages the everyday activities of the facility.

My main responsibilities are greeting the guests and insuring that they have a comfortable and enjoyable visit while at Panther Creek Cellars. While pouring our wines I educated the guests on the vineyards, wine making style and techniques and history of the winery. I also help our winemaker in the cellar as needed with lab work, pulling samples and barrel topping.

I worked with designers to develop store branding and signage, coordinated store launch and oversaw the operation of the store performance by ongoing evaluations of the sales, inventory, employees, and business operations. As store manager I have also been responsible for hiring, training and developing a sales team, scheduling hours, distributing job assignments, conducting performance reviews, creating policies and administrative procedures. As an active Downtown Association member I participated in the Art & Wine Walk from 2006 - 2010, where I procured wineries and artists each month for the event.

On an as-needed basis, I worked in the Raptor Ridge tasting room during regular winery hours. Responsibilities included greeting guests, pouring wine, educating guests on Raptor Ridge wines, processing wine orders, and opening and closing procedures.

As primary point of contact, I maintained positive client relations and client management by monitoring and maintaining current information, contracts, licenses, permits and the various contingencies for each winery. Stayed up to date on the varying state and international shipping laws. Scheduled, coordinated and processed all wine deliveries, pick-ups and consolidations requests. Produced reports regarding inventory and shipments for clients on a weekly and monthly basis. When necessarily I implemented procedures to help information and tasks flow more fluidly.

Maintained store displays, assisted customers and executed inventory management.

Planned, organized and executed events ranging in a variety of different volumes and forums. Established and maintained positive speaker and vendor relationships. Collaborated with team members to ensure successful fruition of events and also in designing marketing material aimed at increasing awareness of the venue and amenities.

As Lead Lifeguard in a multinational facility, I provided guidance and leadership to junior lifeguards. I was responsible for maintaining good order and discipline in the pool areas to insure safety of patrons. Administered first aid and tended to patrons and facility concerns. Complied with incident reporting procedures. As a swim instructor I created daily lesson plans for multiple swim classes.

As a lifeguard in a facility used both for military training and recreation purposes, I worked to helped sustain an clean, safe and well run aquatic center. Through regular training with co-workers we stayed fit and prepared for our duties. Administered first aid as necessary and tended to patrons and facility as directed.
