About Andrea Feraco
After 20 years in the IT industry, I am currently an Agile Manager at Cerved Group, the main Credit and Business Information company in Italy. On a daily basis I work with the purpose to build, promote and improve agile mindset for the teams implementing and delivering company products. I am currently facing this challenge after other extensive working experiences, such as:- Senior Consultant in professional services companies, such as Accenture, having led medium to large software development teams in mission-critical IT transformation projects- Functional Architect at Alliance Healthcare in a very large IT transformation programme (more than 200 people involved, multi million, multi year investment). Project Leader of Herzum development team (about 80 people) being in charge of the Italian team (about 50 people). Delivered major releases of the projects- Manager of the ERP Business Line at Extra, a mid-sized and fast growing system integrator company in Italy, delivering solutions based on the Openbravo ERP open source platform to small and medium enterprisesI am currently supporting the widespread dissemination of the agile culture in Italy as a paying subscriber of the Italian Agile Movement. In this context, I am one of the founder of my hometown agile community, Visione Agile, and I am a member of the core committee. Together with some friends, we organise events and meetings with people from different companies of the local area with the purpose of increase collaboration/contamination about agile and related themes (devops, cybersecurity, etc.). I am also one of the founders and member of the core committee of my company large agile community of practise, Agile Surfers for a Better Way.
