About Andrea Ferrin

I am currently an aspiring nursing student at Lourdes University looking to pursue a career in an emergency center. Throughout my student nursing career, I have provided countless hours of compassionate bedside patient-centered care and fostered communication skills with patients and families. I have developed critical thinking skills while practicing my clinical skills of head-to-toe assessments, administering medications properly and timely, reading and interpreting EKG strips and vital signs as well as other lab values, and communicating with nurses and other interdisciplinary teams regarding patient plans of care. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and have demonstrated nursing leadership through my quality improvement project on CAUTI prevention. I am looking to demonstrate and improve my skills and further my education as a Registered Nurse upon graduation.
