More than 25 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry primarily within medical functions at the Nordic affiliate but also within R&D. Solid background within the Medical Affairs function requiring close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, broad knowledge about health care system and pharma industry, compliance, medical strategy development and therapeutic insight. Extensive experience with traditional clinical trials, observational trials and other types of medical projects from initiation to publication. Last years worked as a Nordic Medical Director for startup pharmaceutical companies with focus on registration, launch and commercialisation of orphan drugs and rare diseases. Responsible for all medical activities, compliance across the region, interactions with local regulatory organisations, patient organisations, scientific input to pricing and reimbursement processes, support and contribute to setting up a functioning Nordic office with many practical issues.
