Reporting to the CEO. Legal advice to both the management and all the departments of the 4 Italian companies of the Group (3 business models), by supporting them on all legal issues. Manage 2 people. Mainly:• Draft and negotiate contracts (national and international).• Mange legal claims (active and passive). Draft pre-litigation correspondence.• Provide consultancy on any legal issue, excluding tax law and labour law (but including agency contracts).• Manage litigations (active and passive) in coordination with external lawyers.• Manage insurance policies and claims in coordination with brokers.• Manage applications to public tenders (analyse the contract and the required declarations and documents).• Risk management (periodic Risk Report and submit big projects to the Risk Board approval).• Compliance: internal (Group Policy) and external (privacy, safety at work, waste disposal, whistleblowing, etc.).• DPO (Data Protection Officer).• Protect intellectual property.• Coordinate corporate secretary services (notices and minutes, powers of attorney and notary deeds).• Draft legal and risk management procedures.• Training courses for the staff (public tenders, privacy, how to sign contracts, how to reply to complaints, etc.).Frequent use of English, including legal English, to communicate with the foreign headquarters and to negotiate contracts with foreign suppliers.

Reporting to the Head of Legal. Legal advice to both the management and all departments of the Group companies in the World, by supporting them on all legal issues. Supervise 1 intern. Mainly:• Draft and negotiate national and international contracts.• Draft legal and pre-litigation correspondence.• Regulatory and case law research to provide legal advice to all company's departments.• Manage litigations, by coordinating external lawyers.• Manage insurance policies and handle claims in coordination with brokers.• Draft convocation letters and minutes of the meetings of the Board.• Protect intellectual property.• Privacy compliance and Consumer Code compliance.Daily use of English, including legal English, to coordinate lawyers in foreign countries.

Reporting to the Partner. Civil, Commercial, Intellectual Property and Information Technology law.• Draft and negotiate national and international contracts.• Draft legal and pre-litigation correspondence.• Regulatory and case law research to draft legal opinions and judicial pleadings.• Draft judicial pleadings and other documents to be submitted before the competent authorities and attend the related hearings.Daily use of English, including legal English, to communicate with international customers and counterparties.Mainly assisting:- a US multinational for the preventive protection of its trademarks in the stationery industry against genericide;- a Norwegian manufacturer of children's furniture for obtaining a court order to transfer a domain name (website);- an Italian multinational active in the fashion industry for the defense against an opposition to a trademark application.- a US multinational leader in providing a web search engine for a patent litigation relating to algorithms;- a well known pharmaceutical multinational for patent litigation relating to generic drugs;- a German multinational for a litigation to protect the design of the rims of its cars;- a German multinational leader in the production of sports cars for litigation regarding damages from an allegedly defective product;- a shareholder of a small-size Italian private limited company for negotiating the purchase of the shares of the only other shareholder;- a medium-size Italian public limited company leader in the packaging of cosmetic products for negotiating an NDA;- a German multinational active in the fashion industry for employee dismissals while closing a store.

Reporting to the Associate. Civil, Commercial, Intellectual Property and Antitrust law,• Draft legal and pre-litigation correspondence.• Regulatory and case law research to draft legal opinions and judicial pleadings.• English translation of legal documents.• Carry out various tasks at the Court of Milan.Mainly working on the legal protection of trademarks of an Italian multinational company that manufactures tires and clothing.
