FA Women's Championship - UKDuring these 2 seasons, I’ve created a sport science department in terms of S&C, monitoring, testing and nutrition.I’ve been in charge to plan, deliver and review all the 1st team S&C sessions, both groups and individually to improve player’s specific needs. I also carried out daily monitoring and TL data collection with GPS, readiness and TQR reports.I led and delivered late stage rehabilitation sessions in the gym and on the pitch as well with injured players.I worked closely with the Manager in terms of periodisation to have the best possible condition for the competitions, I also organised and delivered all the physical tests.I designed all the off-season programs, specific for the individual and also designed and managed the workload during the lockdown (March – June 2020).I improved specific physical qualities and movement patterns of individual players e.g: strength, power, speed, body composition and aerobic capacity.I conducted and led the pre-activation and warm-up before every game, and I also led and delivered top-up conditioning sessions with substitutes after every game.I liaised with S&C coaches from National teams before and after the training camps for the international players.

I’ve worked for the University of Liverpool (Men’s Football 1st team), where I was in charge to plan, deliver and review strength and conditioning programs. I’ve worked alongside a UEFA A coach and assist him during the training sessions. My duties were the following: deliver the pre-activation and warm-up before the sessions and matches, monitor players with RPE and wellness monitoring chart, deliver specific late stagerehabilitation sessions with the injured athletes, conduct the cool down after the sessions and games, anddeliver specific fitness exercises and drills in line with the manager’s phyolosophy to improve performance.

I planned, delivered and reviewed strength and conditioning programs with the U17-U19;I conducted physical tests during the pre-season (strength, power, speed, FMS and conditioningassessment); and also warm-up drills, cool down before and after the matches;I developed and improved performance on long term athletic development plan;I led and delivered specific sessions working on injury prevention, strength, power and SAQ; Winners of New Balance Cup 2018 – U17; 2nd place with the U19 at New Balance Cup 2018.

I worked as a S&C intern in a multidisciplinary team (Men’s Football team), developing a strength and conditioning programs. I also supported the lead strength and conditioning coach in the gym on the talented athlete scholarship scheme (Liverpool Football Ladies). Additionally the internship included a theoretical modules on the strength and conditioning principles: periodization, strength, power, speed, agility, weightlifting, physical assessment and rehabilitation.
