Hello, my name is Andrea! I am a graduate of Texas Tech University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Media Strategies and a minor in Public Relations.My most recent professional experiences include internships at Campus Live and positions at Primrose Schools.Internship at Campus Live TTU (Fall 2023):During my internship at Campus Live TTU, a dynamic collegiate media organization dedicated to engaging the Texas Tech and Lubbock communities, I immersed myself in various aspects of media production and public relations. The mission of Campus Live TTU is to inform and connect the Red Raider Nation with exciting events on campus and in the local area.My responsibilities included developing proficiency in internal software systems to enhance operational efficiency. I contributed to the growth of social media profiles across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat by creating engaging content. Additionally, I attended events to promote our sponsors and assisted in producing stories and designing graphics that captured the essence of campus life and community events. I also collaborated on strategies to engage our target audience and increase customer interaction, participating in live marketing and activation events to foster connections within the Lubbock community.This internship provided a valuable opportunity to learn and execute media campaigns in a supportive and innovative environment, preparing me for a successful career in the media industry. I am eager to leverage this experience as I continue to explore new opportunities.Primrose Schools (Fall 2022)I began working at Primrose during my Junior year of college in 2022 and returned during every vacation. Whenever I had the opportunity to come back for Thanksgiving or Christmas break, I eagerly worked there. The company has supported me throughout my studies, and after completing my degree. I started as support staff and gradually advanced to become an assistant teacher in the EP2 classroom. I worked mainly in EP2 and Pathways with two-year-olds, and I believe that my experience, combined with my academic qualifications, has provided me with a strong understanding of children's needs.I am back at Austin Texas currently seeking a full-time position on my field and I am willing to move out of Texas!
