Andrea holds a degree in Visual Communication Design, a minor in Printmaking, and has worked as a frontend web developer. Her experiences have made her a very tactile designer with strong roots in both the visual arts and website development. With a passion for amplifying existing brands, she excels at uncovering new graphic elements for clients and integrating these designs into functional UI and UX. Responsible for designing the company brand and website. I used HUbSpot to build the two websites. Responsibilities also included project planning, wire-framing and designing the beta version of the online insurance application tool as well as the insurance broker dashboard. I worked with the CTO to implement the UX on the digital product and conducted user testing to improve the usability of the product.

The Office of Communications and Marketing is responsible for the retention and recruitment of future and current students. Design work involves developing and evolving the MacEwan University brand and collaborating with various departments within the University to establish consistency with our messaging. Projects include viewbooks, magazines, conference materials and a variety of communication materials for the University.

Design work involves consulting with clients to design a variety of print deliverables such as posters, banners, business cards. Working with a production team organizing print jobs from start to finish. Tasks include file prep, large and small format digital printing and document scanning.

2010 Worked one semester for school credits as a student designer. Projects included a full campaign for Anti-Freeze 2011 (an annual campus event), multiple T-shirt designs for SUBmart, various event posters, designing slides for the Students' Union's television ads, and revising and editing past work.
